UPDATE: According to Chris Vivlamore of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the Hawks have spoken to Ray Allen's agent about their interest, but nothing is pending. To no surprise, the Hawks are very leery of changing any of the roster due to the terrific chemistry on the team, reports Vivlamore. --------------------
Several NBA teams have interest in speaking with Ray Allen should he decide to play this season. For those teams the wait may not last for too much longer.

From ESPN's Ryen Russillo: "Hearing (the)Atlanta Hawks (are) trying to get in the Ray Allen mix. The Cleveland Cavaliers still the favorite. Look for decision after All-Star break."

The Cavaliers have always appeared to be the leader for Allen due to his relationship withLeBron James and last month James reportedly met with Allen in Miami hoping to convince the veteran sharp-shooter to sign with Cleveland.
