i need to see more before i pass judgment.
there has to be some sort of an equivalent of a motherboard i'm assuming.
for every pc enthusiast there comes a point when you have to gut the whole thing because you need a new mobo...how does this factor in?

I think the middle vertical part is the motherboard

yeah, i got that...so what happens when a newer PCI, CPU, RAM module is no longer compatible with the center piece AKA the MOBO?

will the MOBO have modular parts to accommodate modular interface devices?

my head hurts.

how many years would that take to happen though?

ideally you'd make the 'middle piece' as simple as possible. just some wires, and the tubes to accommodate the liquid cooling. and have everything that would conceivably be upgraded be modular. but yeah, I'm not sure how much of that is possible, and whatever it is, it won't last forever. at worst it would be kind of like now, but easier to swap parts

point taken.

lets say it's about the same as it is with the current structure.
i like the fact that the system they present is wireless and mineral oil cooled, that in it's self is amazing.

i'm just pointing out some questions off the top of my head about it.
in the second video the guy mentioned that it would have custom modular interface
so hardware manufacturers would have to build parts that could hook up to this.

i like the idea...but i can see where problems would come up as far as wide spread adoption.
