Did they? Maybe they planned on doing Boom vs Qleen initially if Boom was out in time. That's the only thing that makes sense to me.

A one round battle as a surprise battle?

It’s lame to me, but since it’s the RBE, the expectations are much lower.

It's just my opinion but..

This Battle was better Live on PPV..

Maybe all the debates and talk has took it's toll on me.. but I don't even want to watch the whole thing again..

Mooks Hypeman was tripping.. Verb moving like he bout to start Pop Locking.. lol

Verb Won... Probably won't watch again..

I’ve already watched it 3 times, I have no desire to watch it again now it’s on YouTube. The battle isn’t that good for multiple viewings.

Welp, it has more replay value than Mook vs. Iron. So far. For now. Lol.

I'm not a new fan btw.

Anyway, I feel you on the old vs new school, it's a real thing..... but shyt is kinda warranted when old heads been inactive for years and think they still got it. And the disproportionate bag lol. The names still draw so I'm not that mad at the bag.

But hey it ain't just about Mook and Cass being from an old era. Mook brought a lot to the game then, but dude was gassed back then and still is.

Were you impressed with Mook vs Iron and Lux 2? I predicted Mook vs Verb to be a trash to average battle with Mook winning because dude is consistent and Verb been wack as of late and cutting rounds mad short.

In the battle, I heard Mook spit battle raps, Verb spit battle raps AND talked to Mook. If you don't wanna give Verb credit for beating Mook, then blame Mooks inactivity for the loss. It ain't the fans man.

Mook goes into hibernation several years between every battle and probably still surrounded by yes men. I can see how in his mind he thinks his material is fire. Verb said it pre battle, that Mook wasn't going to bring anything new to the table. Verb was right.

As for Cass, he beat Diz (in the parking garage). Diz wasn't no threat though, dude became a fan, happy to battle another industry artist.

TLDR but bottom line, Verb did not beat Mook because of era bias. Verb beat Mook because he talked to him, was hungrier, performed better, had less to lose, was more battle tested and then some era bias. But the biggest factor was Verb gets to unload 3 rounds of fresh bars geared toward Mook.

Mook vs Solomon I don’t even think I watched the whole thing

I liked the lux battle I thought mook did his thing

Sounds like to me Norris coooooleeeee lmao

As far as this battle I will agree aye verb went directly at mook and performed well so that gives him a major advantage but I’m not impressed with his material at all

If cass and mook are “outdated” compared to what verb and diz brought to those battles then all that means to me is battle rappers had better material during mook and Cassidy’s era

Ya nikkas will throw the word outdated around all day then turn around and go crazy over kind of sewers/connesueir bars

Idk I don’t get it :manny:

so average punchlines and schemes are better material? who do you like in actual hip hop? do you think cass is better than like a nas or smthg ?
also weve literally heard a lot of this material before, the definition of outdated. i suppose if all this is brand new to you, its a little better sounding.

That’s fine

And if that’s the case you nikkas should be OUTRAGED by lines like “twin 45s Donovan Mitchells” but i don’t hear a peep outta y’all hmmmm bias much?

Cass was saying shyt like that 15 years ago except he actually puts thought into his bars and there would be a double entendre in there somewhere or something

If cass or mook said some garbage like that Donovan Mitchell line u nikkas would bring the pitchforks out with the quickness

Angryfan is one of the biggest culture critics y’all have and even he said mook was going over nikkas heads and said mook needs to dumb it down :scust:

So is he outdated or does he need to dumb it down? I’m confused lol
