You have to change the settings for your outlook, if you want to read them without them knowing. Mine has been set up to be able to click on the message and read it before 20 seconds are up, if you need another 20 seconds click on it again lol. It's been that way for years, with multiple employers. And you can look at the READ and UNREAD messages separately

Don’t get me wrong, there’s literally only 1 person I text that has their read receipts turned on and mine ain’t never been on either.

The one person with them turned on is my technologically challenged best friend and it’s the best shyt ever. I can damn near tell what this nikka is doing or thinking depending on how long it takes him to read the message combined with how long it takes him to reply. If he reads it quick then starts typing, it’s whatever. If he reads it quick then takes long to start typing, he’s overthinking some shyt. If he reads it, starts typing, then stops, then start typing again, he was about to say some idiotic shyt. And if he doesn’t read the message, he’s at his second BM’s house where he won’t pull out his phone.

Knowing/assuming that if most people had on their read receipts we could all do the same shyt; so I ain’t say nothing special, but If I had these super powers with everybody I text, I think I could manipulate a nun out of her draws…
