I think if u remove the filler tracks on LAD that it's the better album
Like if it was a single disc with the best 16 tracks
His lyricism improved greatly from R2D
R2D was rawer but I feel like LAD was where he really shined as an artist

the radio friendly songs on Ready to Die stick out like a sore thumb, but the radio friendly songs on LAD feel more fitted and cohesive. I have to give it LAD the music felt epic and you could feel the paranoia through out the album. If on the upbeat songs you just felt a shadow of dread on those songs. Ask me tomorrow i may can make a case for RTD

life after death BIG just flourished. i mean R2D was more introspective but god damn his talent just shined on LAD. that shyt was amazing. you could tell it was made by somebody at the top of this shyt.
