Real Talk: Kid Cudi Might Be The Most Talented "New School" Rapper Of Our Generation

say what you will about wale, j cole, big sean, kendrick, and all of these other dudes. kid cudi has released two albums, motm and motm 2, that have INCREDIBLE replay value and are borderline hypnotic when you listen to them. the fluidity of these albums, with songs that make impossibly perfect transitions from one to the next, places listeners in a trance that very few artists are able to achieve. the release of the new single from his upcoming EP, Satellite, made me revisit both motm: end of day and motm2: legend of mr. rager.

i'm to these joints. introspective, raw, emotional, and still dope. none of these other new school cats make music as good as this dude, if you use his first two albums as the markers of his talent.
