First off, I make this thread out of love for the sistas. Sometimes the right thing is hard to hear.

Secondly, this entire trend is rooted in insecurity and low self-esteem (IMO). It's not about a change or trying a different look (IMO). Those of you who do this probably won't admit it but feel it on some emotionally repressed level.

The VAST majority of black women I see have fake LONG hair.

The issue is so bad that it's trickling down to teenage girls.

For me personally I have a no-weave policy when meeting woman. I believe in this strongly. Natural is beautiful. Please understand this. Indeed there are brothers out there who project confidence and love of self. We not tattoo'd up. We don't run to cop the most expensive brand name clothing/cars/shoes.

We need you in your most true and pure self. Black is beautiful.

That I s all.

My only worry about this is that a lot of black women who are 'natural' tend to eventually either go with the bald look or have really low cut hair :wtf:

The fukk is that about? Someone please tell me they just choose to have it look that way, and it's not that they're unable to grow their hair or some shyt like that

It's called a "big chop" They have to cut their hair to really start over fresh and begin the natural journey. When my girl did hers it was :scusthov: for the first 6 months but now it's :ahh:

if your hair is relaxed you have to cut the relaxed hair off to go natural.
