Real Talk The NBA Championship Will Stay in the West for the Next 3-5 Years

When you look at these teams in the West Lets break this down real quick.
1. Spurs got Timmy, Parker, Kawhi, Aldridge and shooters + Pop coaching. If healthy bruh this teams inside-out offense will be a thing of beauty. I worry about LaMarcus' defense though. But if you blowing teams out...
2. OKC with KD back healthy. Russ on SSJ mode. The best big man rotation in the league in Kanter, Adams, Ibaka, Dakari, McGary. They have no weaknesses. Shooting, Defense, Post game, Rebounding. Only thing that can hold this team back is first year coach Billy Donovan.....and Dion Waiters...

3. Golden State defending champs. I see no reason why they won't be at the top of the league again next season. That offense/defense is so fine tuned. No brainer here.

4. Pelicans. I know they are not legit contenders YET, but AD will have the NBA on lock sooner rather than later. His time is coming. I believe in Alvin Gentry. Very underrated coach. Has never had a superstar to coach, unless you count Nash. But Nash aint AD. Still got faith in Tyreke too but they need a 2nd legit star to pair with AD. Jrue is straight but Eric Gordon can They remain on the bubble.

You still got Houston doing work. Idk bout the Clippers at this point. Memphis still doin work. Then we know the Twolves got next.

The East, besides the Cavs and maybe the Bucks, is on struggle mode badly. Idk how to feel about the Bulls either.

I mentioned the Cavs though. I admit on any given night, the Cavs can give that work to anybody but they're a flawed team that expects LB to make up for all inefficiencies. If The Cavs met OKC in the finals, Kyrie can't check Russ. They'll put LBJ on Russ or KD. Pick your poison brah. If LB lock down KD, Russ will eat and vice versa. But I don't doubt LBJ, I just need to see a healthy Cavs team at full throttle 1st.

Cavs gone be a problem. That's why I really wish they went to just seed the top 16 teams instead of separating it by East/West. I think the West's to teams are slightly better than the Cavs but at some point at the very least the Cavs can catch some breaks in the finals.

Playoffs is a different beast though homie. Allow one of these contenders to study the Cavs over a 7 game series and we'll see the same scenario. Let LBJ go off and lock everybody else up or try to lock LBJ up and force someone else to beat you. Easy in theory I know, but definitely not impossible. Cavs are not as dominant as some may think despite the greatness of LBJ and Kyrie.

And what's crazy is teams like the Jazz and the Suns would be 45-50 win teams in the East probably next year easily. The talent level in the West is so much higher then the East and has been for a while. Like other posters have said just make it the best 16 teams and then we get to see something different and compelling at the same time.
