Woman charged; five injured after car hits parked vehicle in Jefferson City
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)
Five people, including three children, had minor injuries after a car smashed into another parked vehicle Wednesday in Jefferson City.

The car's driver, Danielle Bailey, 28, was "visibly intoxicated" and arrested at the scene, police said in a news release. Bailey was driving a Nissan Altima in the 1400 block of Elizabeth Street on Wednesday afternoon when she ran off the road and hit a parked Chevy Malibu, police said.
Bailey and her passenger refused medical treatment but three children -- all younger than 14 years old -- in the car were taken by ambulance to Capital Region hospital for minor facial injuries, according to the Jefferson City Police Department release. They all had abrasions/bruising to their faces, according to the probable cause statement. Two children were treated at the scene with "minor bandaging applied to their foreheads.
No one in the vehicle were wearing seatbelts, according to the probable cause statement.
