Harden, Derozan, Thompson and Butler (probably closest to back in the day) are all good players but you don't ever see duels like this no more.

PG game is pretty high these days though

I was actually at this game, Freddie Mitchell and Jaleel White were in the front row with furs on . Alot of eagles were there because this was the superbowl year. Ike Reese was standing in front of me at the will call line.
Maybe the best game I ever been to energy wise. Shyt felt like a finals game or something

edit: nvm I might be wrong , this vid says april. the game i went to was in december or something before the eagles went to the SB. I know shaq was on the heat by then tho

I feel like these quotes couldn't be further from the truth. All good PGs take pride and derive their value from facilitating, being the floor general, and controlling the tempo of the game, while good SGs are out to score first and foremost. Sure there's exceptions, but for the most part that's how it goes.

Even someone like Westbrook who people swear is more of a 2 guard gets 10 apg. An ideal 2 guard can score and defend and anything beyond that is a huge plus.
