reboots/remakes.. how come..?

how come movies r never just remade... like keep the same script.. same type of scenes.. just update the actors and special effects???

imagine how dope a ninja turtles remake would b.. updated fight scenes that really make em appear like ninjas.. a more modern shredder.. April from this era.. feel me?

One remake I'm looking forward to is the movie The Gate, the original was Stephen Dorff's first role.

H.R. Giger gonna be doing the special effects but Alex Winter (Bill S. Preston Esquire) is going to direct the remake and that's what I'm most worried about.

I worry because I don't think I've seen him do anything outside of Bill and Ted stuff.

He's doing a Bill and Ted remake? I thought it was supposed to be a sequel?

THEY already do this...its called 3D

They do this with special effects or animation aka "remastered" like Star Wars, Terminator 2, etc

It doesn't do the actors, directors, producers, etc any artistic justice if they just redo the exact same movie...that's stuff you do in drama classes in gradeschool.
