My 04 trailblazer is on its way out, gave me a check engine light after I spent a couple of grand on it already this year so I'm looking for something to get in the next 3 to 6 months :

-prefer chevy, honda, subaru or even hyundai
-2012 to 2020
- $10k to $15k
-open to awd sedans but prefer suv's even crossovers

If you want an AWD sedan that's affordable and has an awesome AWD system, Subaru is your best bet. What's most important to you in a crossover? What size are you looking for? Do you need the size of a Pilot or would something like a Equinox work better?

Size isn't important (pause) as I also have a a suburban to haul big things, gas mileage, safety and features would be the most important

I’m currently car browsing now, and for 10-15k, depending on location, you’ll get something like a late 2000s to early 2010s Honda, Mazda, or Subaru or late 2010s model of those cars, but with 100k+ mileage.

Dont get a Hyundai or Kia if you don’t want your car easily stolen with a USB Cord lol it’s so bad, State Farm won’t even insure those cars

Don’t sleep on Mazda. Beautiful cars, underrated, and has reliability and longevity if it’s the more recent Mazda 3/CX models. Look for one made in Japan compared to one made in Mexico

The car market should go down to floor level in December to mid January, just don’t wait til February because that’s tax season, and everyone will be car buying = higher prices

The Hyundai and Kia's that are being taken are ones that have a physical key and an ignition switch; because they didn't put immobilizers in the cars. After the fix, the USB hack no longer works. As an aside, if you try the USB hack on a push button start Hyundai or Kia, the slot where they were sticking the USB cord is still there, only difference is the wiring goes to the airbag which will ignite right in your face :mjlol: since they designed the circuit to always have voltage even with the key off

cr-v/rav4/highlander are the obv choices... kind pulling this last part outta my ass but mazdas depreciate more so i think u could find slightly nicer cx-5 examples than a honda/toyota

Yeah but then when the airbag explodes in your face, you're not running anywhere -- you might even be permanently blind because of it, ESPECIALLY if it has one of those Takata airbags that hasn't been replaced in the recall :mjlol:

I remember when @Brooklynzson was running ThColi, all the mods were driving Maserati's and 7 series BMW's. I think it's time for the mods to unionized and join the Teamsters, you saw what they did with UPS....I'm just saying:manny:
