Can't go wrong with a quality 1911. Or if you prefer a hi-cap gun I'd go for a Glock 17/19, Beretta 92, CZ 75, Sig P226, Walther P99, or a H&K USP. All are top notch. Make sure you load it with +P ammo.

All of those good, so I'd recommend going to a range and trying them to see which fits you better.

Glocks are dope but its more for the advanced gunners, i say a Ruger is more up ya alley.

If money isn't a factor, go with a HK 1911 .45 combat pistol. It's powerful, reliable, and easy to use. My gun enthusiast friends in the military are all big fans of it.

You have to remember, though: A gun is only as good as the person using it. I don't care how powerful and reliable a gun is, it's not going to do you any good if you're a shyt-tier shot. You should get some practice at a shooting range if you're looking to feel confident in your ability to use your weapons.

breh he aint in no special forces :pachaha:, that gun is for pros only. He might not be ready. I man check, something pop off and he fire a shot and miss cuz of the recoil, his body gotta get used to the recoil.

I was going to recommend a Ruger SP101 revolver for a new shooter. Don't have the capacity of a semi auto but you don't have to worry about failure to eject or magazine issues.

If he really wants a semi auto then glock or a smith and wessson m&p will do the trick.

Either way practice a LOT. Take a few training classes too.
