Been to both and DR aint seeing Rio as far as guy trips go. The scenery is much better, the beach vibe is more free, and the chance for random is much higher. The American tourist factor is way to high for me in the DR especially in Punta Cana.

I wanna go to Brasil to see the beautiful Afro-Brazilian culture. Afro-Brazilians have a more beautiful and honorable culture than the DR. Plus Afro-Brazilians share the same experience as of AAs but theirs is worse.
