Anyone have experience recording live instruments? I have a couple betas I’m working on, and want to record it

Is it as easy as some type of audio interface, and maybe 1 mic? I really want to get a sharp, strong snare sound. Will definitely post on here for critique

For drums you’ll probably want multiple mics so you can mix your snares/kicks/hats separately. I’d look at a beringer mixer, like a xenyx.

Edit: that’s only if you’re really playing the drums. If you just want to sample an acoustic snare then yeah, interface and mic is all you’ll need.
