Them DTE nikkas are most salty, hating ass dudes in the game. Whether TIP is an informant or not, how do you turn ya back on somebody that's given your crew multiple opportunities in this music shyt?

Why the fukk would the FBI hire T.I. to be an informant?

:russ: do you realise how stupid that shyt sounds?

do you not know how the FBI works? :ld:

i can't verify if what he's saying is true or not, but if you go back and do your history on how the FBI uses, plants and places informants, they can be very prominent, well known people who are influencers in their particular sect or group. it wouldn't be hard to believe there would be high profile informants in hip hop these days when you look at how powerful and influential this genre of music has become.

and for those of you that doubt if TI COULD BE an informant, ask yourself how a black man in america (with a previous record) gets caught with all those guns, walks free, gets re-arrested twice, only to resurface a year later unscathed with a reality tv show on one of the most watched networks on television?

....and still raps about drugs, guns, and killing people....

I cant really explain that T.I got year on the gun charges, knowing the limited amount I do about the mandatory minimums, but this explanation isn't very credible either, for one, the ATF was the arresting agency, not the FBI. As far as I know the ONLY way around the minimums is the safety valve, (first time criminal offender, no record, not leader of conspiracy, and ONLY in drug cases) and a downward departure from a 51k letter from a prosecutor, which is cooperation in ongoing or upcoming investigations, or actively setting people up.

If people were already being called snitches and givin clever nicknames like t.op I.nformant:ufdup: among the people he is an influencer....surely the f.b.I would not think that person would make a good informant, bcuz the level of trust is comprimised:laff:....why not get sumbody with a past in law enforcement:mjpls:....Ross probaly was workin undercover and got caught up like Omar Epps on In Too Deep and started to identify with the very trap rappers he was supposed to bring down:lolbron:

you think people living the industry/artists life pay attention to the media like we do? the entire reason that artists/stars/celebrities at that level are treated the way they are is to be kept oblivious to what's actually going on in the real world or even around their own camp/clique. they have "handlers" (managers/publicists) who tell them what to say when is needed. if they're not doing that they're either recording, partying or a mix of those things. not saying that all of them don't pay attention to what's going on, but that's the way the industry works. remember, the artists aren't the ones that the FBI would really be looking for, they're the people behind them where the money is really being made (many artists/labels are funded by massive amounts of drug money). that's where i personally believe these plants come from. many of the things we as civilians think would be the best idea are counter-intuitive. like i said before, i don't know if it's true or not, i'm just saying celebrity informants are not a far fetched idea.
