Dutch pimp turned rapper Redlight Boogie (previously Sugacane or C.A.N.E.) is considered a veteran in the Dutch scene. I’ve been listening since his break-through hit You Can’t Fool Minez back in 2000, but he has been active since before I was born in 1990. His long awaited debut album, Dirty Money, Clean Hands was finally released in 2009. Even though it didn’t quite make the impact it could have with more promotion and bigger features (he worked with a lot of bigger names in the past), it was still a solid release. One of the singles featured Rock (of Heltah Skeltah) and remains one of my favorites.
