That’s fair, 🫡. I respected it completely…i knew it wouldn’t fly in hip hop though where everyone is permanently 17 years old and loves drama/negative shh… I can understand nigs just wanting to hear the lyrical fade tho, I fux with that…Cole heart wasn’t in it tho clearly. Salute to Cole…he righted his wrong by 86’ing that lil joint he dropped when he realized he didn’t really want the issue.
I think Kendrick woulda kicked his ass too just being objective…I like Cole most out of all 3 as an MC but I think Kendrick was just in a Thanos-esque zone and jonesing to annihilate nigs
. I mean look at Drake before the battle vs now…nasty work lol
reggie a man. this is what real men do. rap, unfortunately, is not a genre that looks kindly to vulnerability. reggie is speaking from a person who spent decades in this game. now if this was reggie 30 years ago? he'd be like..

I don’t believe this. Cole is 10X the rapper Drake is and has less easily accessible character flaws so a battle between him and Kendrick wouldn’t have been as easy as it was for Dot. This was Cole’e moment to show and prove he was THAT nikka he’d been claiming he was the last half decade when it came to being ready for any and all challengers. And he folded. FOLDED.
shyt is still cringy to even think about.
I still say J. Cole came out of that situation in a better light because his ass would have been in Drake’s predicament if he kept going. Probably not with the suing and lawsuits.

the guidlines yall give for not listening to peoples opinons is the weridest chit lolOne of my favorite MC's of all-time.
But Redman hangs out with cac Woodstock hippies and buddha monks now. Ain't nobody trying to hear this sh*t he talkin'.

love the album....yeah nah, hell nahstyle wise, flavour wise
Dare Iz A Darkside
over any album in the past 20 years
from the beats to the skits to the lyrics, flows etc everybody involved was disgusting with it, especially Redman and the beat-makers

If he chose not to respond to Kendrick and didn't release that song I wouldn't have cared. I didn't think Cole or Drake should've taken the bait. I would've advised them to drop a line or two addressing it but wait for him to initiate a battle. Cole choose to start the battle and then walked it back. If you're going to change your mind that fast what was the point of recording and releasing the dis? He should have sat with the song and made sure he was okay with the next step. Things get messy in battles so if you can't deal with that don't drop a dis track. It looked like he wasn't confident in his pen which is crazy considering he's been daring rappers to try him for years.
List the albums and they cant be Cheat Codes or Kd3love the album....yeah nah, hell nah![]()
