Your point? The site has to replenish its membership to keep chugging along. Once per quarter would be best for the forum. People haven't been able to register accounts for years now.

EDIT: You can get of trolls by banning them and if needed, IP banning them. I don't understand why admins and mods are averse to growing the forum.

Word. If registration remains closed, this board is gonna end up like IGn in a few years. IGN board used to be popping, then IGN took it off the front page and all of the affiliated video game pages for years, so if you weren't already aware of the boards you wouldn't even know they existed. Registration dropped off, and now all IGN has left is a declining, aging userbase. Basically every forum besides The Vesti (their version of TLR) are complete ghost towns. The HHB was so big it was on Complex's top hip-hop site rankings in 2012, and now it's had like 6 new posts since 2019. And IGn recently put the forums back on the front page, but that hasn't stopped anything (and even worse, they're turning the place into Resetera with the rules )

5 in 5 out policy. 5 posters get banned 5 posters get let in. Small enough to avoid trouble and ban trolls questionable posters.

If possible delete all the permabanned users to make space for the new ones.
