I read this quote a while ago "If you would learn what God thinks about money, you have only to look at those to whom he has given it." And it has me to wonder....do you guys agree with that quote?
Religious folks; do you think bragging about obscene amounts of wealth is a sin?

IT DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU DO WITH THE MONEY AND YOUR LIFE. IF YOU GIVE IT AWAY IN CHARITY, TO ORPHANS, AND TO FAMILY ECT., THAN IT CAN BE SOMETHING THAT HELPS YOU TO BE IN PARADISE AND AVOID THE HELLFIRE. BUT IF YOU ARE GREEDY WITH IT AND BASICALLY DON'T DO ISLAMIC THINGS WITH IT (LIKE BUY ALCOHOL AND DRUGS WITH IT) THAN IT CAN LEAD TO YOUR RUIN IN ETERNAL HELLFIRE. Bragging or boasting about anything is a sin.
Every man in this life or the next needs money, this is how the world operates.
One should never brag about what they have, there is a parable in the bible where a rich man asks Jesus what should I do??, Jesus replies give all of your money to charity and sale all that you own.

Jesus said where your treasure is that where your heart will be. So whatever you value, that tells you what you value. And if you boasting about having a bunch of money, that's what you value. And that's what you love. And you can't love both God and money according to Jesus. You have to choose one (not that having money is sin but valuing it more then God).
