so I'm on Netflix watching the old school transformers cartoon. I get to thinking I should download the movie as well.
then it hit me
"Naw fukk that I wanna finish beast wars...."
so I get online find a torrent and start the download.
"maybe they might have it on Netflix as well."
I find it on Netflix and see it's only season 1 ok cool.
*changes torrent to only season 2&3*
I start the very first episode and you wouldn't believe the looks of confusion and disgust I had finishing that first episode.
-bad animations
-terrible cgi
-terrible backgrounds
-horrible voice acting
-terrible comedy
-and more....

I couldn't believe when I was younger I used to think this was the hottest shyt on TV early in the morning.

by the end of the episode man I stopped the torrent and deleted.

share your own stories y'all

sent from my phone nikka....

don't waste your time with looking back at 70's/80's cartoons, shyt's wack

you're good with classic Looney Tunes/Disney shorts/Merrie Melodies/Popeye/Woody Woodpecker/Hanna-Barbera/90's Nick, CN, Fox Kids, Disney Channel toons, even some stuff out today shytS on all that cheap animation garbage. All they did back then was rehash the same show with a slightly different cast (Scooby Doo>Jabberjaw>Josie & the p*ssycats>Speed Buggy>Amazing Chan) :snoop:

Cartoons have advanced so much compared to the late 80's and early 90's that it's really unfair :to:

At least 50% of the games I played after the pixels era 1986-1999 look like pure shyt now and is probably unplayable.

While some things we loved from the past do look like ass, we still grew up on a lot of classics. From video games to cartoons, the quality is still there and holds up well.

Someone Created a Modern Rework of the Classic N64 'GoldenEye 007'
Someone Created a Modern Rework of the Classic N64 'GoldenEye 007'

Attention, OG gamers.

By Zarah Cheng · 2 hours ago in Entertainment ·

OG gamers are sure to recognize the classic first-person shooter game, GoldenEye 007, for the Nintendo 64 console. Well, what if the legendary title was made with the modern tools available to contemporary game developers? Environment artist Jude Wilson proposed the same question and decided to tackle the project. Recreating the ‘Facility’ map in the game, Wilson explains that he combined the original N64 layout with aesthetic cues taken from the blockbuster James Bond film. Utilizing the Unreal Engine 4 program, alongside softwares such as 3DS Max, Unreal Engine 4, Marmoset Toolbag 2, Photoshop, nDo2 and Substance Designer, the artist has produced a realistic reimagining (from scratch, mind you) of the environment along with adjusted interiors, props and lighting that remain true to the archetype. Check out the full video above and for more N64 and PS3 gaming nostalgia, check out the OpenEmu emulator available now.
