I am relocating to Oregon from Virginia. Never lived on the west coast, nor do I have family there. I have a job lined up for me already. It's going to cost me a fortune to relocate me and my dogs (probably 3 grand). I have a lot of stuff setup, but I haven't made my choice on which moving truck to use (I need a moving truck with extra cabin space for my two large dogs who will accompany me on the drive). I have housing setup too, but I haven't paid anything toward rent or signed any agreement, as I am trying to find something in Tualatin/Sherwood if I can, but since I have a pitbull (and a lab) it is hard for me to find housing that will accept her. Anyone have experience finding housing that accept pitbulls. I found a site for people in Oregon with pitbulls, but it only has like 6 places that accept it. I've tried craigslist, but that is hit or miss as well. Anyway, looking for all the tips I can get with this big move. I am leaving in a few weeks. My orientation for the new job is on September 19th.

Please help!

Go online and get the pit certified as a service animal.

Good luck I lived in Washington for about 3 years and loved it during the summer but all of the rain and overcast days got to me though.
