Nope your right it's like to some you have to stop at a certain age I never got that
Nearly all (if not all) the big genres were founded by young people, they are the ones that have the creativity and the time/energy to experiment with shyt all day. So it was automatically associated with "young black men". Same thing with the listener, when you watch movies from the 60s old people used to call Rolling Stones and all type of rock music devilish, nowadays it's dad rock.

Started when Hov had dat track 30 is the new 20's. Got 40 year olds plus still wearing and acting like they in their 20's. N to keep it 100 I got no problem wit that.
