Former WVU QB Pat White Claims He Was Offered a Corvette to Sign with Alabama | Bleacher Report

On Thursday, White commented on the story on his Facebook page, telling his followers (and the world) to "Stop pretending like you didn't know the crimson tide has been doing this for years. Still glad I turned down a Corvette to become a mountaineer."

Not every person on a college team is from a poor family believe it or not. Its kind of lowkey racist to think that anytime you see a black college player with something nice they got it through a violation.

Don't get me wrong though, tons of violations do happen

Historically, the majority of black players are....and historically, nice things have been used to get them players to play at schools.

Do we really want to go into historically black people things? Sounds like a Donald Sterling point of debate. There's tons on players who are from families that can afford to get them a nice looking used car. For people to just "assume" an athlete with a decent car got it in some type of rule violation way is borderline racist cause it only gets questioned when the athletes black "historically". Dude has a used chevy, not that far fetched that he and/or his family could've got it on their own. Not like hes in a 750 bmw.

Like I said don't get me wrong violations happen everyday. I've seen car dealer owners/boosters give ridiculous fire sale prices to athletes firsthand.
