Because he was the #1 rated HS PG in the country,he was bigger,stronger,faster,and all around more athletic than Jeff,which is not true,because if you saw Jeff at Wake Forest you would have known Marquis would never be better than Jeff.

Marquis still can be a very solid player in the league,just needs a jumpshot and better decision making
