Most college age adults are liberal. Then they eventually grow up, get jobs, and raise families which leads to them becoming more conservative politically. The rest of the population lives off the government (90% of this message board) and become loyal voters of the Democrat party.

I'm just glad for the kid for being able to find himself and form an intelligent opinion, regardless of it being left/right leaning. In the end it doesn't really matter whether he's more liberal or conservative, but the fact he had the ability to think for himself and question the norm is what we all should be excited about. At 13 he really didn't know exactly what he was saying and was merely a pawn in the game. Now he's opened his mind to contrasting views, probably read the facts, explored philosophy/current events/history etc., maybe even smoked a J or two. I hope everyone in HL can appreciate a person challenging their mind and forming their own opinion, even if it does or doesn't match yours.
