Danny Brown is a prime example of trying to please an audience that won't fukk with his earlier shyt. The problem with dude was the fact that he was a gimmick in the eyes of a niche audience, rather than being a true artist that he portrayed during XXX. Plus, he overdid that high pitched voice to hell. Like it works when he's doing an alter ego, but he just kept doing it over and over.
