IDK how much longer yall gone keep sleepin on Beard and overrating westbrook, but Harden is obviously the more SKILLFUL player of the two. Putting up better numbers with virtually none of the effort, while westbrook plays his ass off to get his.

Give harden a coach whos gonna make him work like Champion and dude will be the best player in the NBA

Not going to say Harden is better than the triple double machine that is Westbrook but they are neck and neck. Harden is becoming underrated though because nikkas can't look past their hate :manny:

Respect. Can't hate on your opinion but I'm looking at it more from the standpoint that Westbrook gives virtually 100% every game, while Harden is "neck and neck" with him while half ass playing and probably only shows up so he can get his paycheck. Harden is just untapped potential. Lazy.

He goes for rebounds that hurt the team because he is out of position if the ball bounces the wrong way. The opposing team gets the offensive rebound, Westbrooks man is wide open for a 3

Goes for more risky steals than anyone in the league, leaving his man wide open.
Holds the ball too long in attempts to score himself or get himself an assist.
For all the "he plays so hard!" Comments, I've seen him take a ALOT of possessions off on defense. Go under screen or watch his man shoot a wide open shot and not close out.
Bad shot selection has already been highlighted before as well as forcing would be assists that instead end up Turnovers.

don't get me wrong
I love watching Russ play more than almost any other player in the league and he is a one man wrecking crew in transition and way too athletic and physical for most PGs to do anything but back up and let him shoot cotton jumpers but his stats make him look better than he is and he is certainly trying to lead the league in triple doubles and steals ahead of winning (not always but much more than permissible)
It may not be on purpose, but it's still what happens. I used to be a player like that (obv not at nearly as a high of a level) but I thought that it didnt matter how long I had the ball as long as I ended up passing for an assist. But that's not how bball workz

The thunder should fine Westbrook everytime he attempts a 3. Dude just throws it at the rim as hard as he can like he tryna see how badly he can brick them. But ya harden is alot more skilled and clever but his flopping and no defense shenangians turns people off.
