Moesha/Brandy overplayed her hand when she saw that Countess was basically the Urkel of the show and getting a lot of shine. So of course they had issues — Countess was stunting on Brandy and she made the show pop.
Kinda true; Countess was a funny character and outshined people. shyt took a dive from there and the storylines were ridiculous. Ray J being on the show was a show killer.

Those type of storylines are a quick way to kill a show especially when you don't have everyone on board. Even they realized they fukked up when they tried to change the optics about it as it went on.
It’s not what killed the show nobody liked frank.
The target audience just outgrow the show
