When this came out, we actually thought it was possible for him to match the quality of the first Cuban Linx.

Then there was this BANGER



The hype couldn't be bigger.

But the final Cuban Linx 2.... Underwhelming and overlong, with Rae spitting with his new sleepy flow as opposed to the FIRE above. There were some dope tracks though.

but ob4cl2 was a damn good album. thought it was fire and not a let-down at all

I will never agree that the CL2 was underwhelming. I LOVE that album. Rae had the sleepy flow but it wasn't lazy and the lyricism was top notch. The production was also very good and worthy of the album's lofty ambitions.

Only disappointment was that he couldn't get Nas on there, Nas wouldve murked Have Mercy but he was in the midst of going through his divorce and he blessed Rae on Shaolin Vs Wu-Tang so it's all good

We'll agree to disagree on Kids That Rich. It's a weird ass beat but it bangs like a muhfukka when you listen closely to it.
