No...? As far as I remember nearly everyone was just supportive of him and commended him for being openly gay in what's a bizarrely macho business

If anything the fact that nothing's changed for him or his character is the best thing about the whole "situation"

"Come out of the closet and get a push brehs."

"You know Vince is going to use this to probably break up the PTPs and push Darren Young to the moon. Vince wouldn't dare give him those deavors now; that is unless he wants the LGBT community hounding him."

"They're definitely gay-friendly now. This can only mean good things for Darren."

"They were looking for a new top African American face to promote on the Mysterio level....I wonder....this isnt going away. Getting way too much attention."

I'm just wondering why so many nikkas were acting like he 'planned' the whole thing with an ulterior motive

Like, these nikkas seemed so sure that dude concocted a master plan to randomly tell the world he likes sucking dikk, so that he'd get a lot of media attention, and then that would somehow automatically get him a main event storyline with Cena.....or some dumb shyt like that :lolbron:

Dude couldn't be that dumb. For fukk's sake, if his resemblance to Cena wasn't enough to get him a lil solo shine on some 'Bizarro Cena' shyt, then he had to have known coming out wasn't gonna do much for his career either :heh:

Maybe he was just tired of being who he was in secret, and decided that was the time to just come out, and deal with the reaction he feared. Maybe Vince saw his coming out as an opportunity for a little positive media coverage, and had him do all those interviews and shyt

The man came out, got support (and hate, which is why it's so difficult for dudes like him to come out......I'll never understand how the homophobes who ask "why is some fakkit telling the world he's a fakkit such a big deal :why:" don't see that they ARE the reason it's a big deal).....he did a few interviews, then fell back to pretty much where he was before the whole thing started.....except for the whole "living his life without having to hide it" part

I can't see how he would be unhappy with that. And I don't see anything wrong with him being jobber status, and remaining jobber status after coming out. It's not like that shyt was supposed to change his status in the first place. But some nikkas will use that to try to 'ether' him anyway, I suppose :manny:

I'm glad he didn't get pushed.

The media does enough to emasculate black men, last thing I wanted was some black wrestler faq going out there in rainbow spandex talkin' bout "I'm supeeeer...thanks for asking"....:whew:
