And many times a few big Tuesdays in the month....Looking in the Source and you'd see the upcoming album dates, or go to Sam Goody and they would have the board up listing all the albums that were dropping in the upcoming weeks. Multiple albums you were anticipating dropping the same day like :lawd:
It seemed like we had piff dropping regularly. And now it's like :mjlol:...One decent album dropping every 8 months

The underground constantly dropping albums brehs :what:
If you actually like hip hop music you wouldve adapted into a real head, not wanting to be starstruck by big names again. mainstream rap is dead. good riddance.

There used to be a lot of things to look forward to back in the day. The regularity of updates (not necessarily releases) and all the different outlets having their own take on things made the scene feel that much more cohesive.

If nobody else is going to admit, I will: I'm fukking lazy when it comes to looking for entertainment, yes, I do prefer the regularity when things were popping on a regular basis. Not to rely on it entirely, but at least having it there in the same capacity as the good old days. Can't stand all these blogs and vlogs and shyt. I feel like I'm doing work just to find out what to check for, fukk that. fukk it, why lie. :yeshrug:

But life is nothing like that anymore. Damn. Maybe things really have gotten worse, maybe it's just me, or both.

What underground acts are dropping great albums, honestly? Just because it's low key doesn't make it interesting to me
And the topic isn't only talking about big name artists anyway.
