every year i think of cancelling this to save money and just using /r/mlbstreams to watch games but all in all the service is just too convenient. I have the app on my phone, ipad, ps4, roku in the bedroom, and sometimes watch using the desktop. Having the ability to quickly throw on a game to listen to in the car is a huge plus too

Yeah they have the best streaming service by far as far as sports are concerned. It has dipped a bit over the years, but it's still pretty damn good. I rarely have issues.

Baseball is back, and so is MLB.TV. Just got my email. Says my subscription will renew on or around March 25th. Also, this was included:

'With the first games of the season just around the corner, we are pleased to notify you of the annual automatic renewal of your MLB.TV Yearly subscription for 2022. Your subscription will renew for $129.99 (the same price as last year), a discount off the 2022 season full yearly price of $139.99.'

I do not know what that terms of that 'discount' are; whether it's for the late start or already being a subscriber or what. They lead off the email with that paragraph and never explained lol. But hey, it's cheaper, so whatever.

Again, if you subscribed and don't wanna be auto-renewed, click the big bolded link in the OP and it'll take you to where you can turn off auto-renewal.
