8 mins. Left at work my supervisor said I had to create a list of all the tasks and projects I've had since working there. Which is only a little bit less than 3 months

So, Im staying a lil late doing it and my other supvisor said "just in case you're wondering, this is because the CEO and director want delegate and blah blah."

Then, started talkin bout "reorg. And transitioning responsibilities"

So I hit him with the "Well, I know what that mean" and he had the look. "Dont worry your job isnt in jeopardy"

Only been at this job for a lil and its marketing. Already gonna start filling out apps and updating my resume

I been in corporate America for a little more than one year.

They laid nikkas off 3 weeks ago and we got raises a week later

They cut the low performers and reward the high performers

They do offer a good severance though so that made me feel better cause I might get the axe in the future

Man, my job is entry-level. Im supposed to be learning in my position smh. This is why Im bouta start doing web development courses when I get more bread.

Oh I been dodging layoffs since I graduated. I used to work for a newspaper

.. but my field is growing and stable....its one of the newer jobs popping up in banking so I'm good. But.. anything can happen so I'll be ready. I save and spend within my means
