So rep boosting is banned, what about rep abuse from trolls...

What does rep actually mean?

When i get negged from people I blocked to avoid harrassment, just so they can send more harrassing messages is that against TOS?

I am honestly just wondering because I have a few people follow me thread to thread harrassing me, so I block them and get neg for doing so.

I don't even specifically care about neg although I'm guessing it's there for a reason, I would like to know how to block the messages people are somehow allowed to send although they have already been ignored. I ignore people for real reasons, and I guess they have found a way around.

What's the next blocking step, or do I have to accept my negative points from trolls just so they can have one more chance to direct hate my way?

The rep system in every board on the innanetz is "flawed" at heart and there's nothing to be done about it. If you have strong opinions and/or aren't really open to debate and/or you're contrary to the majority, you ought to be deep in the rep... So if you care about your rep like that, you need to understand that the Coli is a site where the majority of posters are Black males so if you don't share the opinion of this majority, it's "normal" for you to be negged. It's like that on every board.

In the old version of the Coli, one could deactivate its rep and therefore could neither rep or be repped. I don't think Xenforo got this option but I could be wrong.

You have one last solution if you don't want to receive alerts when you're negged :
- click on your nickname on the top right.
- then click on "Alert preferences" on the left sidebar in the settings option.
- then uncheck "reputation".
- and don't forget to save the changes

Click on alerts, click on alert preferences and uncheck reputation, simple as that. Anyways I don't see any comments different than the normal neg comments people give. Stop complaining

So apparently I'm currently the target of a Neg Train from 1 of the private social groups on The Coli (T.n.T) for no reason. I would've never figured would out why I was randomly being negged by 5+ posters for a post in a old thread that hasn't been bumped, if it wasn't for the fact that 1 of the posters had a public profile (The other posters all had private profiles).

These nikkas literally have an active thread called in their group called "Target Nomination Discussion": http://www.thecoli.com/posts/13599103/

So these fukkbois literally have nothing better to do but look for folks to target for Neg Trains!

I don't understand why they have the rep system. It's useless. People deep in the red don't face any consequences or get any privileges taken away. Someone could have past -2000 rep and still be allowed to create threads.
