This probably the 5th-7th time I’ve seen Neguse speaking on something or trying to / actually getting commons sense goals / legislation done.

Not 100% sure if Newsom would’ve lost or won with the same last minute switch Harris had…..
But as far as it pertains to last year’s election….i think in general we underestimate how good the right wing media groups are at painting California as a “cesspool” to supposed “independent” / both side voters. People who have never been to Cali have it as a boogeyman in their heads.
As far as 2028 goes….Dems better find another 2nd additional legit contender to get behind…Newsom has large holes to attack
, that will be able to gain traction amongst multiple voting blocs via propaganda and echo chambers.

Matter of fact, I think running on a Cabinet type style campaign would be the best way to go about for Dems.
1 lead generic white guy, and STRONG cabinet proposals.
