I'm in favor of the commission. All we have right now are vague answers as to what reparations would look like. The commission would study and figure out how to make reparations work efficiently and feasibly. Get us our money without breaking the bank, so that everyone is in favor of it. They're going to figure out exactly what programs would help, what checks should be distributed, who gets paid and what percentage, etc.

Now if we have a bunch of c00ns on the commission, it's going to be a disaster.

The commission would be paid to sit on their asses for months/years and come up with a 'compromise' that would aid a bunch of other people who are NOT Black/descendants of slaves in order to satisfy 'special interests', to keep themselves from being termed 'racist', and to keep other groups from trying to get a similar pay-out/benefit package in the future.

Hell, they'd need a commission to determine who exactly would benefit before they even got to the part about payments of any kind.

In other words, this is nothing more than another diversion to keep us from DEMANDING what's ours.​
