Replays need to be reviewed in real time.

Slow mo makes every foul or hard hit look timed and deliberate.

Why go to the slow mo?

Merry Christmas Bruh

or is Happy Kwanzaa better for you?
Dog...either contribute, or get off my brim.

They replay using slow mo and it obscures the fast nature of the game.

it doesn't really matter though in all honesty

a foul is a foul regardless of how it happened in real time

my only gripe is that they should need to stop calling these ticky tack fouls all the daamn time

it kills the momentum of the game

I know its great for the networks, which is probably why there are so many BS fouls

it allows them to have more commercials

but that shyt killsme

I gotta disagree with you on this one Reb. The point of replay is to get the call right. If you're using replay on a call then it's because the validity of the call is in question. Go frame by frame if you have to, just get the call right.

I understand on those calls. I'm talking about flagrant fouls or hits to the head

Nah I completely disagree on this one. Even on hard fouls or flagrants by reviewing in slow motion you can see if they made a motion outside of a regular basketball play that you may not be able to see in regular speed.

Nah. There was a play where devin Harris was kicked out for a flagrant foul because slow motion focused on how hard the player he hit hit the ground and made it look like Harris did it deliberately. In real time, it looked like he clearly went for the ball. No one has three seconds to deliberately hit someone in the perfect spot with the speed of the game. That's not to say that there are deliberate fouls.

That's more the result of bad officiating IMO instead of instant replay. Officials should be smart enough to differentiate.
