I gotta disagree with you on this one Reb. The point of replay is to get the call right. If you're using replay on a call then it's because the validity of the call is in question. Go frame by frame if you have to, just get the call right.
Nah I completely disagree on this one. Even on hard fouls or flagrants by reviewing in slow motion you can see if they made a motion outside of a regular basketball play that you may not be able to see in regular speed.
Slow mo makes every foul or hard hit look timed and deliberate.
Why go to the slow mo?
Nah. There was a play where devin Harris was kicked out for a flagrant foul because slow motion focused on how hard the player he hit hit the ground and made it look like Harris did it deliberately. In real time, it looked like he clearly went for the ball. No one has three seconds to deliberately hit someone in the perfect spot with the speed of the game. That's not to say that there are deliberate fouls.
