That Punk autobiography in a few years is gonna be a must cop :whew:

It's been proven time and time again that Vince will put up with shyt from you and hear you out if you have the status and worth to justify your displeasure with things which is the case here with Punk. Imagine if Zack Ryder pulled some shyt like this :heh:

It's gonna be hard as hell to sit through Raw without Punk on the regular and D.Bryan and Caesaro as afterthoughts. I think that Punk is slowing gonna start transitioning into being a part-time performer in the near future, showing up for a couple programs each year in the same vein as Jericho, I think WWE feels that his run over the last couple years have awarded him that luxury.

Vince would throw him into the bushes and give him the deavors with the quickness. Something like this

Going under is used as well as going "up".Listen to two and a half wrestlers podcast(they are actual wrestlers not like these other faggit podcasts)they say both all the time.Maybe its just a north east indy thing but it is used.

That seems to be the pattern, and that makes him myopic and foolish.

If he were smart, he'd want to develop a healthy working environment where you could bring up developmental players along with his veteran players.

NFL teams do this very well. You may have some disgruntled employees, but overall, they buy into the program.

(Or else, the coach and/or GM are fired.)

Instead, Punk is viewed as a working body who has to manipulate his boss in order to be granted a conversation.

This is one of the reasons why guys were willing to jump to WCW back in the day. And this is one of the reasons why the younger stars are saving their money and looking to get out.

vince loves this kind of sht. If you have talent, and you're valuable to the product, he doesnt mind you being a thorn in his side and having the balls to tell him to fck off. Vinny love the drama.

Eh, Im not so sure about that. I think the relationship between Vince and his employees largely skews harmonious, but for a few prickly stars like HBK, Punk, Austin, etc he does allow space to be somewhat confrontational if they can back it up in performance.

Comparing WWE to the NFL is a bit messy, because legit sports are more objective in its observation. You either play and put up numbers or you cant. Wrestling is subjective and demands critical analysis, and a different set of multiple skills to succeed.

The guys jumped to WCW for guaranteed deals and a lighter schedule. I dont think many jumped because of any personal discord between themselves and Vince. To the contrary, many described Vince as being approachable and fair, and if anything their relationship was far worse under Bischoff who operated like a tyrant.

PUTTING UP NUMBERS IS THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS IN THE WRESTLING BUSINESS TOO, BROTHER! NUMBERS LIKE 24, DUDE! AS IN INCHES OF PYTHONS, MEAN GENE!

Don't tell me he really thought he was gonna end the streak. :upsetfavre:

I don't think he or anyone else did. This sounds like bullshyt to me, just made up "newz" based on Meltzer actually breaking the story that Punk had disagreements with creative and is taking time off.

In some interesting new WWE rumors, it seems like CM Punk and the WWE had a backstage explosion that resulted in his post Wrestlemania 29 promo being delayed. According to reports, the writers scripted Punk's promo and he was not happy with the way it read because it made his character come off as a whiner.

The sources claim that CM Punk had a major blowup with the creative team about the promo because he didn't want to come across as a whiny loser. They also say that Punk was so angry as he argues with WWE creative personnel that he almost considered quitting the company. However, cooler heads prevailed and the two sides worked out their issues. As a result, CM Punk made his first appearance the next week, only spoke slightly about his recent losses and then walked out.

This makes plenty of sense. The WWE built up CM Punk as a legitimate star. Punk held the title for longer than anyone since Hulk Hogan in the '80s. He had legitimate wins over men like John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, Ryback, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, and more. He also built his reputation as an arrogant competitor who considers himself below no one.

For the WWE to send him out to cut a promo whining about a loss to The Undertaker would have been wrong and flies in the face of what his character is about. Thankfully, the two sides worked out their problems and Punk went out his way for now.

CM Punk has been suffering from a knee injury and will finally get some time off to recuperate and the WWE rumors indicate that he should be back on TV leading into Summerslam in August.

Dirtsheets defending Punk more than his biggest stans on here :pachaha:

Last week Meltz said they wanted to keep him away from Jersey because they didn't want him getting cheered that much. And nothing this week about this blow up.

Now all these others sites are saying he damn near quit and was right for it :heh:
