My Pops Forever RIP
He's going to start and probably play 18-20 minutes a night at most tho
which is fine. Also eases in Bjelica without expecting too much from him, because he'll be critical towards their immediate future.

@tremonthustler1 are you pinching yourself, all the wins in the last couple of months, Portland imploding and Denver looking like they're in for a long rebuild.

Getting KG & Karl was like your dream moves, and they both happened.

I can't complain about the offseason so far. All of this simply needs to translate to the regular season for it to feel like it will pay off.

long rebuild? I'm not sure about that. :lupe:

we already have two foundational pieces in place (Nurk, Mudiay), young players with potential/intriguing pieces (Jokic/Harris/Joffrey/Barton), vets with value around the league (Lawson/Chandler/Gallo/Faried) and one of the better coaches in the league.

one more terrible year is necessary, not only to add a high lotto pick to the Nurk/Mudiay core but for Malone to implement his system in Denver.

the stars are aligned perfectly for us. Tim & Josh just need to play it right. :lupe:

You in the West broski, and as much as I like Nurk & Mudiay you have holes at the 2, 3 and 4 that need to be fleshed out.

If you all suck this year and get Skal to go along with Nurk, or Simmons then you're going to be on an accelerated track.

yeah, getting another core piece is key.

the Nuggets are in a unique situation. thanks to Shawful, we were able to be terrible and grab two impact players in the draft without actually rebuilding. Faried/Gallo/Chandler/Lawson all have value and can be used to stockpile assets, which would give us options. that future Memphis pick we received in the Mozzy trade is pure gold.

but if we don't make similar deals like we did for Afflalo/Mozzy, settle for mediocrity and watch the vets walk out the door like the Blazers, that will set the rebuild back significantly.

a competent FO could turn this bytch around in a few years. :leon:

How is dirk even close to being better than kg? Nikka is scorer that's it's. He can't stick d, pass, rebound. None of that.

one led team to 2 finals and a ring as the go to guy other was role player in 2 finasl and 1 ring :yeshrug:
kg was better all around. dirk had a HELL of a supporting cast in his prime. at kg peak he was on one of the most dysfunctional franchises ever :sas2:

Jason terry, MArion (one of the most versatile defenders in the NBA at the time), tyson chandler in his prime, j kidd. :patrice:

Carisle is a better coach then KG ever had :yeshrug:
