Tatum 27 and can do the same

an Achilles is a 6-9 month recovery :gucci:

It’s not a 18 month procedure

Jayson Tatum suffered his Achilles tear on May 13, 2025. He had surgery less than 24 hours from when he suffered the injury, which is unheard of, but could prove to be invaluable.

Dr. Martin O’Malley performed the surgery and he was the only physician on a newly released cutting edge paper regarding Achilles rehabilitation.

If we look at the ‘Return to Sport’ in this paper, it lists 24+ weeks, assuming he hits all of his benchmarks of recovery (isokinetic/isometric strength >90% LSI)

That would put the date as October 28, 2025.

Assuming no setbacks I think November/December is possible, but January is probably more realisti
c.

The future of Achilles reconstructions and returns in (elite) athletes is here!!!

Why is he doing Pharmaceutical drug pitches on morning tv when he's going to be making $500 million off the NBA?
