According to a new report from PWInsider.com, there is growing unrest in the TNA locker room, as several anonymous talents have come forward stating that the company is yet again behind on paychecks.

Sources at TNA headquarters in Nashville have apparently confirmed that many are still waiting to be paid, although there is a dependency over just how long they are behind. Some wrestlers are claiming “two pay periods” while others have indicated they are still awaiting checks going all the way back to February.

The problem seems to stem from parent company Panda Energy, who recently relocated their offices and closed down the department responsible for sending out paychecks to TNA employees. Under past circumstances this sort of thing may have been responsible for a week or two backlog, but given that the company now tapes huge amounts of content at one time, and then does nothing for months as far as talent is considered, delayed payment can be a much bigger problem.

The current schedule is also the subject of a lot of frustration backstage, as TNA has been television-only with a handful of One Night Only tapings since the move to Destination America. There has been talk of getting back into the pay-per-view game with this year’s Slammiversary, and running limited live events over the summer, but current it’s become a necessity for most of the roster to work the independents just to make a consistent living.

As we noted TNA has announced more 2016 Slammiversary details, and has also announced post-PPV TV tapings in June in Orlando.

According to PWTorch.com, TNA Wrestling is behind in paying production and crew members going back to the January and March TV tapings of this year

TNA struggled to make on-time payments in 2015, and has since handed over the payment system to the Harris Brothers and their company Aroluxe. Payments reportedly continued to be late, and TNA moving out of its headquarters in Nashville did not help matters much. Furthermore, it’s being said employees has been met with “resistance” from TNA management when asked about backpay.

Some members of the production staff have even been told they might be replaced at the next set of TV tapings in favor of independent production workers who do not have a history of late payment with TNA Wrestling.
