No one who has been to New Orleans will have any problem with why New Orleans gets events all the time.

New Orleans is perfect for a sporting event party weekend. The stadium and the arena are right downtown, and downtown itself is concentrated enough to be completely walkable from end to end in a days worth of partying, and diverse enough with parties popping off everywhere.

And on top of all that, New Orleans is cheap, open containers on the street, food is great, everything is open all times of the night, and everyone you come across in your drunken travels is trying to party on the hardest levels. I’m sorry brehs, but your cities don’t do that.

Miami has the best club culture in the country, but New Orleans is the best overall party city we have.

If you're complaining about New Orleans getting events you should be lucky they even feel a need to rotate shyt or you'd be coming to New Orleans every year

Once you check into your hotel (if your not a cheap fukk who stays in the suburbs) you don't need to touch a car. All the venues are a 20 minute walk AT MOST. And you can drink on the streets. What else do you want?

Yes I live here, am I in love with it no. But there is no better place in this country to host a big ass party for a weekend.
