i would be perfectly fine with trump being impeached and pence becoming president under the right circumstances.... let's say the dems won the house and senate, pence wouldn't be able to push his agenda through and there are only two years left on trump's term....
however, let us all stop fooling ourselves.... trump is not about to be impeached... there will not be enough dems elected to the house that will have the stomach to impeach trump... if dems win the house, pelosi
becomes speaker of the house.... she's not bringing up legislation to impeach trump... let's just be real about that... even if she did, it would take 67 votes in the senate to convict... if mcturtle remains senate majority leader, you can forget about it... let's just be more real, if schumer became senate majority leader, you can still forget about it...

You are for impeaching Trump yes? Knowing it means President Pence... this is preferable to you than having Trump remain in office yes?
This removal of consequence is exactly why they stuck him with Pence and what the people you insist on caping for want from this cycle. A slow pairing back of consequence, because it isn't about Trump, it's about the next ones after him that now have more and more leeway to do whatever they want without any consequence for their actions.
If Trump is a puppet and they aren't accomplishing anything despite still high approval ratings from their core base, then maybe it doesn't matter who they put up there because the party is a complete mess who can't pull their heads out of their collective asses.
