Only if the voters are dumb enough to not realize that there is in fact enough money, but the budget is a fukking mess because special interest groups with big pockets decide where the money gets allocated. These lawmakers are fukked, I don’t recall the last time the teachers unions have flexed nationwide the way they been going the last couple of months. This country is in complete fukking chaos. You repubs/libertarians have been yapping for sooo fukking long about “get us in power, we will set the country straight”, now you have ALL branches of government, and not only couldn’t manage a flag frisbee league, you are still blaming democrats. What we are living through right now is a clown show.

As much as I’d love to get into what did dems/Obama’s do for teachers discussion, I’ll pass and agree with you that what we have now is a clown show.

It bothers me because the lawmakers are taking these people for a ride. It also bothers me because the ideology of the electorate are blinding themselves to what the politicians are really doing. If there was an actual transition from public employment to private employment, then for the most part it would be ok (excluding firemen, police officers). But the lack of transparency in expenditures, the fearmongering about taxes, the pervasiveness of the private sector in politics has gotten the country and its institutions completely out of whack.

As I said, in that (your) thread, Individualism has hit its limit and the electorate doesn't know what to do about it. Capitalism as we know it is becoming more and more outdated. As much as @DEAD7 hates the idea, the time for democratic socialism has finally come.

It would be a very long discussion, because I have my own views as to what the “old guard” Dems did to “check” Obama for just long enough for the tea party fukkfaces to get into majorities, and after that it was a fukking wrap. He had to use ALL of his political capital to pass Obamacare, and then the republicans took thier ball, said forget about the country, it is now our mission to not let anything progressive ever happen again while Obama was president. Obamacare saved my wife’s life, so nobody can ever tell me a fukking thing about it. I now have absolutely no problem at all with Dems being fukking petty, and when we win back the house and the senate, I want some real obstruction shyt. Trump shot his wad, he got his justice, he is getting all his fukking judges, we are gonna be fukked for decades, just because Obama had the nerve to be black, and wanted to provide decent healthcare for our most vulnerable citizens, what a fukking villain Barack was, how dare he put a leash on Wall Street, how dare he even think about distributing wealth, how dare he have an emotional reaction to babies being massacred at school and ask fellow American citizens to think about what use Joe Blow have with semi automatic street sweepers, how dare he try to reform the mass incarceration industrial complex, the 44th president might as well have been Hitler.
