Memories:wow:

When I was visiting Queens as a kid, a box of Columbia sampler cassettes was left on my aunt's doorstep for my cousin, and this was on it, along with Walk Like A Duck by Kurious, I Get Wrecked by Tim Dog, and Shark Attack by Mad Cobra.

First time I heard Nas was on that tape (Halftime - before it came out on the 'Zebrahead' soundtrack too). :ahh:

a line that sticks out to me in retrospect is "im tryna get to watts but im stuck in baldwin hills".

is that where shes from?

baldwin hills is upper-class black folk. this was like 15 years before the tv show tho.

People always want to bring up her being 'exposed'....total bullsh*t. You can't be exposed (by someone else) when you have your Mom on your tape talking about "you weren't raised this way..."...

This album was straight heatrocks......
