yea. kid had a couple other homerun lines too. once you get a few of those in your bag, you pretty much got the W, even tho I liked play's verses as a whole more.
besides, kid wrote most of play's rhymes anyway. so even if play wrote his own rhymes in the battle, he had no choice but to do the job in the movie and take the L.

One of my favorite tracks from those two coming up. Back in the day they weren't seen as top level lyricist, but I would that track up (Kid vs Play) up against a lot of what was out there back then. It was dope in it's own right.

"kid spelled backwards describes your best" and "you didn't play you just got played out" were big parts of Kid winning, he had the bigger clowning lines plus they had good wordplay which is great in a battle
damn i'm gonna have to go on a Kid N Play movie marathon again soon House Party 1, 2, 3 & Class Act. anyone else like Class Act the best tho? i remember i used to watch that shyt the most and i found a decent download a while ago. are they on dvd?
