Return of the Classic American Big Luxury: 2017 Lincoln Continental vs 2017 Cadillac CT6

For years i've asked the question "why aren't Americans automakers (mainly Lincoln and Cadillac aren't building big Luxury cars anymore?" Being from the South, I've always loved and admire the classic big AumericanSedan Devilles, Coupe Devilles, Fleetwoods Brougham, Lincolns Continentals, Buick Lesabres, 88s, 98s, etc.

Lately Cadillac and Lincoln have be producing these midsize and smaller vehicles: CTS, ETCs, MKZ, MXSs and other confusing names. For the first time in seems like forever, these 2 automakers have produced big Luxury Vehicles to complete with European sedans. I have to say I'm impressed.

CAddy looks alright but I talked to my mom, she bought a XTS loved it but it kept malfunctioning electronically with the magnetic shocks and my dad said fukk it, took it in and got a BMW 7series. So I don't trust GM, since when I had a Yukon I had problems, and seeing that Caddy also has problems it seems their Quality is shytty.

Lincoln though, hopefully they actually make a big car, full sized like the old town car, instead of a fusion body like this Continental I would be on board. That and producing on a RWD platform and offering V8 engine option minimum with option to go V12. until then not interested in their offering because its subpar for luxury

The CT6 already getting a facelift, so that shyt basically flopped saleswise, i love that car though. Alot of car for the money. And the Lincoln...shyt look like a flop to me

I hate the back lights on that Lincoln. It makes it look cheap as fukk. Why put a beautiful grill on the car and but cheap lookin Kia back lights on it? A coworker has the CT6 and that bytch is nice.

I like the CT6, just saw one of the dark highway, the lights aren't impressive at all.

I'm starting to see a few Continentals now. Might grab one when the price drops in a few years

Its close but that Lincoln Continental I fukking beautiful and a pleasure to drive. My only complaint us that the car doesn't look like luxury auto from the rear but the ride quality and the lack of noise from the cabin is exquisite.

Facelift already? That shyt just came out. That shyt kills the Lincoln IMO. The only thing is price wise its in the FOH zone. For what they want for a fully loaded Lincoln or CT6 most cats going to go with the big 3 in this group if they don't have that Bentley, Rolls type money. When these drop in price enough I can see cats copping them cause they are definitely nice as shyt for the regular cats like most of us esp the one with the tv and panaray sound system.

Yeah I saw one or two fully loaded in the low to mid 50's with less than 10k miles. You can't beat that IMO with the features it comes with.

ct6 is beautiful i see 3 where i live on the regular. the continental doesn't hit me the way caddy does
