Probably the last great main event PPV match WCW ever had

That match had no right to be as good as it was, given the personnel involved

Dam that was a good match, I was really hoping Goldberg would spear and jackhammer his ass too (no homo). But this is the type of matches that builds a face up, when they're against such insurmountable odds like that and pull through.

Goldberg damn near injured Steiner at 14:16 :damn:

These two beating the hell out of each other was for sure some of the better stuff going on during those sad final days of WCW

I remember really loving their matches. Goldberg did just recklessly toss dude at the ropes like fukk it!!

Breh, Steiner wasn't the same Steiner from the early 90s but he was still really good at this point and Goldberg could always be carried to something decent. What surprised me the most is that Russo's involvement didn't kill the match. Sure, the finish was kind of bullshyt but these two just beat the holy fukk out of one another with no fukks given for safety of anything. It was fantastic. :whew:
