Thought it would be cool to go through old controversial fights and make our own scorecards to them. Interested in seeing where everybody stands. Could spark some good discussions...

We'll start off with Mr TBE himself, in the 1 fight that many people still to this day believe he lost

Here's my scorecard for this fight...

Round 1: 10-9 Mayweather
Round 2: 10-9 Mayweather
Round 3: 10-9 Mayweather
Round 4: 10-9 Mayweather
Round 5: 10-9 Mayweather
Round 6: 10-9 Castillo
Round 7: 10-9 Castillo
Round 8: 10-8 Mayweather
Round 9: 10-9 Castillo
Round 10: 9-9
Round 11: 10-9 Mayweather
Round 12: 10-9 Castillo

Final: 115-111 Mayweather

The first 5 rounds were easy to score. Mayweather won them easily. Castillo made a nice comeback in the latter portion of the fight. The 11th was close and could have went either way, but I ended up giving it to Floyd. Castillo was more aggressive and got some shots in, but also missed quite a bit. Mayweather tagged him on the outside then was getting the better of the 2 on the inside, (which you would think would be advantage Castillo, but it wasn't).

Good fight, and Castillo made Mayweather work for the win, but I never ever thought Floyd actually lost that fight :manny:

was able to hole myself away in a conference room to watch this so let me type this out before i head out to the gym

Floyd - Rounds 1,2,3,4,8
JLC - Rounds 5,6,7,9.10,11,12

Ref took a point away for JLC in round 8 and i gave that round to Floyd so it was 10-8 and ref took a point away from Floyd in round 10 and i gave that round to JLC so it was 10-8 him

Which makes it 114-112 JLC...nothing changed on that end in terms of winner but it was closer than i remembered :manny:

Floyd got it 114-112 and I'm being nice to Castillo swifting and punching air. He caught Floyd with some good punches though but the ring IQ is the best tool you can have in boxing. Floyd backed up and allowed Castillo to come in and kept jumping in with the left hook. Castillo did a lot but not really what wins you a fight.

Those Compubox numbers are straight jokes
